I mean honestly, where would you rather spend a week, stuck in a pool surrounded by barbed wire fencing for your safety, keeping you in, and the baddies out? The nearest town is even too dangerous after hours to walk through and relax in. No no, ain't my scene and I'm male. Imagine if you are a single female tourist who wants a week away from home. Where are you going to go where you feel more safe than on a singles cruises. Park your car at the terminal, hop out, take your labeled bags to the luggage area space, designated for your ship, and leave them there. Walk on the ship, passport in hand and there you go. 50 stewards to greet you at the door and escort you to your cabin where your bags will follow shortly. From here on in the rest is smooth sailing.
After checking you have your life jacket in your cabin (formality),and your assigned table number for dinner, with your ships paper in hand, get out and explore, find your way around the ship, know where to go. Where´s the front and where´s the aft. What deck am I on. Wheres the food buffet being served now, where´s my table at dinner, where´s the dining room, where are the shops, (they will open after sailing for tax reasons along with the casino).
Day 1 is a good day to reserve any special beauty treatments, as there booking spots wont be full yet and you will have all the time options available. Want to book a tour, the desk should be open now or if not check your paper and it will show all the times of opening and serving till.
